Chateau Cherubin

Born in the region of Bergerac where his parents have a 13 ha wine estate, he learned the work of the vine and wine while respecting tradition and nature.
As soon as he finished his studies, he entered Château Mouton Rothschild, where he made 17 vintages. It will obtain 3 times the note 100 out of 100 in the newspaper “Wine Spectator” (years 1982, 1986 and 1988). At the same time, he will set up the “Opus One” project, a partnership between Château Mouton Rothschild and Mondavi (United States).
in 2005, Bertrand Bourdil realized his lifelong dream: he acquired the vineyard of Chérubin located on the south-west side of the hill of Saint-Emilion, near the vineyard of Château Angélus and many Crus Classés: Grand Maine, Clos des Jacobins , and involved his two daughters in this adventure from the outset. Since then, his wife Magali and their two sons Clément and Léo have participated in the adventure.
