The fascinationg history of Château d’Aqueria begins in 1595 when Louis Joseph d’Aqueria purchased this area of Tavel known “Puy Sablonneux”. His son Robert d’Aqueria built home wich was transformed in th 18th century into the Château as is stand today. Château d’Aqueria is one of the major wine estates in the southern Rhône Valley, is covering 65ha. Located between Avignon and the Pont du Gard and has vines in the cru Tavel, Lirac and Côtes du Rhône.
