Domaine Arlaud

Domaine Arlaud is a critically-acclaimed family-run estate based in Morey-St-Denis. Siblings Cyprien, Romain and Bertille are the third generation to run Domaine Arlaud, which was founded by Joseph Arlaud in the years after World War II. Cyprien takes the lead on winemaking, and under his guiding hands the already impressive wines gain in detail and precision each vintage. Ever aware of the importance of vineyard health, the domaine has been biodynamic since 2009 and certified since 2014 - work in them is aided by two Auxois horses Nougat and Oka, who plough between the vines and are tended to by Bertille. Their 15 hectares of vineyards are spread across 19 different appellations but their core focus is on their eight premiers crus in Morey-St-Denis and their three grands crus - Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche and Clos Saint-Denis. In 2021, Cyprien added a small selection of négociant wines, from vineyards managed by the Arlaud team throughout the year, under the label ‘& Arlaud’.
