Domaine Monthelie Douhairet Porcheret

Mr. and Mrs. Monthelie created the Domaine more than 300 years ago. The vaulted cellars and the squirrel press bear witness to this period. Located in Monthelie, in the heart of the Cote de Beaune, the Domaine covers 13 hectares. It extends over the vineyards of Monthelie, Pommard, Volnay and Meursault and has been managed for a long time by the Monthelie and Douhairet families. Domaine Monthelie-Douhairet-Porcheret was established in 2003 through the merger of two historic family estates: Domaine Monthelie-Douhairet and Domaine Porcheret.

The domaine owns and manages approximately 7 hectares of vineyards, primarily planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. The vineyards are located in some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy, including Monthelie, Volnay, Pommard, and Meursault. Sustainable viticulture is practiced at the domaine, focusing on preserving the natural balance of the vineyards and minimising the use of chemicals.

The wines of Domaine Monthelie-Douhairet-Porcheret are highly regarded for their elegance, finesse, and purity of fruit. The domaine produces a range of red and white wines, including premier cru and village-level bottlings. The wines are aged in French oak barrels to enhance their complexity and structure, and they are noted for their ability to age gracefully over time.

Today, Cataldina and Vincent, creators of good humour, passionately manage the 6.5 hectares of the estate. Their philosophy is to perpetuate the family tradition to seek ever higher quality with the help of new and modern techniques while respecting the environment. Beyond the search for excellence in the glass, Cataldina and Vincent are also lovers of life: for them, wine is a magic potion that makes you happy when you share it... That's why you will always be welcome at the Domaine!
