Moutard Pere et Fils

Moutard Père et Fils is a historic winery. The current heir to the winery is François Moutard, who is also the winemaker of the winery and knows Champagne well. Based in the Côte des Bar, Moutard makes its wines from its own grapes but also from those of winegrower friends. The range is made up of very well-vinified, full-bodied, straight champagnes, benefiting above all from a minimum dosage or even sometimes non-existent (extra-brut). It combines the winegrower's expression of terroir and the trade's sense of seduction with a few original vintages from forgotten grape varieties.

Total of 22 hectares of land, accounting for 20% of the total area of the Champagne region. The soil is mainly composed of clay and limestone and is suitable for growing different grape varieties. Chateau Maude uses hand-picked grapes to ensure the quality of the grapes. In order to ensure that the champagne can be presented to guests in perfect condition, all champagne must be stored in the bottle for at least three years before it can be sold.
