Odyssee 319

For four generations, the Bonville family has specialized in Blanc de Blancs champagne from the Grand Cru terroir of Avize, a prestigious terroir of the Côte de Blancs.

The history of Champagne Bonville dates back to the 1900s, when Alfred Bonville purchased a plot of land in the heart of Champagne. In 1937, the family purchased a winemaking space in the village of Avize. Complete with a wine press, oak casks, and a cellar dating back to the 19th Century. After World War II, Franck began to commercialize cuvées in his name and continued to grow the estate around Avize. In the 1960s, the work in the vineyards became much less laborious thanks to the invention of the tractor.

Odyssée 319 was recently launched from their estate in Avize, by Olivier Bonville and his stepson Ferdinand Ruelle with the ambition to work with the most passionate growers encompassing 319 villages throughout the region. With its 34.300 hectares spread over 319 crus, Champagne offers infinite possibilities.

It is on this multitude of identity terroirs that they observe.
Their passion for the wines of Champagne and their desire for new experiences, lead them out of the chalky basements of the Côte des blancs for new discoveries.
