The bond between Tommaso Cavalli and his land has its origins in a true passion which has taken shape in the form of the estate owned by the family since the early seventies, Tenuta degli Dei, to which Tommaso and his father Roberto (yes, the world famous designer) have devoted thirty years of intensive work. The estate is located in the village of San Leolino, near Panzano in Chianti. Tenuta Degli Dei embodies the Cavalli family’s lifelong commitment to farming, wine-making and horse-breeding, the symbols of Tuscany in the world.
The blend is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Petit Verdot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It spends 18 months in oak, some new, and then aged in bottle for an additional 18 months.
